The nursery Kinderkrippe Glückspilze is centrally located in the municipality of Horgen within proximity of the Lake of Zurich. Our spacious, 320m2 premises offer a versatile and comprehensive learning environment where children can play and develop a variety of different abilities. The nursery offers an all-day childcare service for children from the age of 4 months until school entrance age.

Our pedagogic concept is based on being sensitive to perceive and respect each child as an individual with an unique personality and its very own special abilities and weaknesses. At the same time we consider the child to be part of a social system where he/she will want to engage in different relationships according to their actual stage of development and their indiviual options and necessities. Our goal is to establish the best possible conditions for the children to individually develope and thrive in a social setting. We also attempt to increase the childrens awareness and respect for Nature. 

Group concept

The nursery has three mixed-age groups for children between 4 months and school entrance age.

Opening Hours

The nursery Kinderkrippe “Glückspilze” is open Monday through Friday from 7:00h to 18:30h. The children should be brought to the nursery no later than 09:00h. In the afternoon they can be picked up after 16.30h. The nursery closes its doors between Christmas and New Year’s. On public holidays the nursery is also closed. On Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve the nursery closes at 16:00h.

Rate

For the childcare service we charge a flat rate of CHF 125.- per day per child. This comprehensive service includes diapers, toiletries and all meals.
